Dil Raju who made successful film Bommarillu with director Bhaskar is coming up with another film with the same director with title Parugu. Allu Arjun and Sheela are paired up to lead the show. Manisharma is tuning the music. The film’s shoot is almost finished and Dil Raju is planning to release the film on 1st May.

The combination of Dil Raju, Bommarillu Bhaskar and Bunny is creating high expectation on this film. Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa is releasing on 28th March and Allu Arvind asked Dil Raju to maintain 40 days gap Jalsa and Parugu. So Dil Raju decided to release the film on 1st May.

Audio of Allu Arjun starring Parugu is released 8th April. Incidentally 8th April is Allu Arjun's birthday and all the more merry time. Chiranjeevi attended the event as chief guest at this event which took place at Durgam Cheruvu.

Chiranjeevi praised producer Dhil Raju as a film maker with very good understanding of everything. 'He picks his director and the cast apt for the script that he is producing. His films are normally seen as super hit films even during the making itself. That shows the kind of confidence he established for himself', said Chiranjeevi.

Prakash Raj said: Parugu is the story of every father and every daugther who has a father. Overall, it is a film for every one. I love the character I am doing in this film. Coming to Bunny, I have been seeing him from the time of Gangotri. He constantly shows the zeal to improvise. He is an energy packed dynamite. Probably he learnt the dedication towards work from Chiranjeevi annayya. I am very confident about the film and I wish the unit all the success'.

Dil Raju is planning his Parugu premier show with different way on 30th April in Prasad multiplex. The film will be screened on 5 screens. The premier is opened to 500 common audience- it is first of its kind in Tollywood.

The common audience will be selected with help of FM Radio, TV channels.

The film is all set to hit the screens on 1st May. Allu Arjun and Sheela are the lead pair. Prakash Raj is playing a vital role.

Allu Arjun's latest film Parugu audio was released by Megastar Chiranjeevi.First cassette was presented to Prakash Raj. The colorful event, coinciding with the birthday of Allu Arjun, was held at Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad. Parugu is being produced by Dil Raju, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, and music is being composed by Mani Sharma. The lead cast and crew of the film attended the function.

Chiranjeevi spoke about the developments in the film industry - "When you consider the trends in filmmaking, referring to our Telugu industry, it is like a journey. Each face is dominated by Director, producer, hero, music director… like that. Interestingly, we find the powerful presence of the directors now. Coming to producers, Dil Raju has a specialty. He will remain in the pages of history for doing wonderful films, relying much on the talented artistes, technicians and subject. Bhaskar told me about the subject long back. His film Bommarillu is like a lesson dealing with the relationship between parents and children. Manisharma is a great asset to the film. When I asked Bunny whether he is showing six-pack body again, he just said he was limiting himself to clean performance, and expressed his wish to become a good artiste. Now, I am confident, that Bunny would receive the best actor award. Prakash Raj himself said Bunny rocked in the film. Heroine Sheela got praise from her own hero Bunny. I express my good wishes to Bunny on his birthday, and wish the entire team all the best."

He went on to say - Allu Arjun will win best actor award.

Prakash Raj became emotional: "I am thankful to Dil Raju and Bhaskar for giving me the best role in this film. It is the story of each and every father, who has a daughter. Life will come alive on the screen. I acted with Bunny in his debut film Gangotri. Before he was a hero, he used to come to the sets and watch me constantly. When I asked him why he did so, he said – Dad asked me to do so. There is a lot of difference and growth from Bunny's Aarya and this film. He would simply rock."

Director Bhaskar: "This is my second film. I took great care in preparing the script. Songs and music by Manisharma have come out well. I am sure, this film will entertain all sections of the audiences like my debut film Bommarillu."

Hero Allu Arjun: "I did my best in Parugu. As I thought this film would become a milestone in my career, I requested Chiranjeevi (garu) to grace the function and release the audio. For the first time I am doing a film with music by Manisharma. I am thankful to one and all in the unit for all their cooperation and collective efforts."

Producer Dil Raju also spoke, expressing birthday wishes to Allu Arjun. He thanked Manisharma and Bhaskar for their best efforts.

Parugu release is left with few days ahead and according to latest buzz in the film industry, this flick has storyline similar to that of Megastar Chiranjeevi's personal troubles, Chiru second daughter story who fell in love and secretly got married with her boy friend etc.

Arjun being big fan of Chiru reacts in his own way whenever someone comments or does bad on Chiru. He reacted so in Rajshekar case, now he is reacting through flick on Srija's case. This flick is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar which projects strong bond between father and daughter and how father gets broken down when a daughter elopes, Prakash Raj plays role of a father.
